"These years were very special to me. It has been a great joy to dedicate my life to God as a consecrated religious.  Since my youth, God used the OFM Franciscan Friars as instruments to encourage my vocation to the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. These have been fifty years of surrender, service, joys and tears, but mainly they were fifty years of praise and thanksgiving to the God of goodness to whom I have given my life."

"Celebrating a Jubilee is to celebrate life while being in harmony with God by being faithful in small things, with resignation and dedication to the needs of the Congregation.  I am grateful for everything: to our Sisters in the Area for their commitment and support on my long journey,  to the members of my family who have always supported me through so many challenges, graces and blessings from our Heavenly Father.

During these past years, I sought to welcome with love and dedication all the poor, especially those lacking housing or shelter from the storm.  The Gospel asks me to live in faithfulness and respect, attentive to the word of God, in obedience and readiness to do his will."

"This Jubilee was for me a time of many graces and blessings. Before the ceremony, we held a six-day retreat, which fueled our spirits. During the Jubilee Liturgy and celebration  in August, Sisters Tiziana Merletti and Margie Ferri, one of the pioneer Sisters in Brazil, along with her best friend, Lany, were present.  Besides all of our Sisters from the Brazilian Area, we welcomed several members of our families, many friends and Associates. I thank Sister Maria Helena and all the Sisters in the Area for such dedication and love in promoting this event. Thanks be to God for such abundant grace!”
