Teresita was born in the Philippines and was the daughter of the late Pedro and Encarnacion (Sake). She was 80 years old. Before retiring, Teresita worked as a Bookkeeper at Mt. Alverno Center in Warwick. Her many friends recall that she was a very happy person and loved life.
Teresita became an Associate of the Franciscan Sisters of if the Poor in 2004. Her sponsor was Sr. Kathleen Reynolds who knew her from Mt. Alverno Center.
Teresita never waived from her commitment to share in the healing charism by praying for the deceased sisters, praying the rosary, and engaging in a telephone ministry to the sick, depressed and abandoned. Her last Covenant Renewal was on May 6, 2017 at Mt. Alverno Center.
Thank you, Teresita, for opening your heart as a door to life and showing such loving kindness toward those in need. Rest in peace!
